Faisal Arts is one of the oldest signage houses in the United Arab Emirates. This is the story of a workshop that grew up with a capital city.
Est. 1982
A hand-painted beginning.
When Faisal Arts opened its doors in Mussafah in 1982, signs were made by hand — painted letters, bent metal, patient craft. The businesses of a young Abu Dhabi needed names above their doors, and we gave them names that lasted.
Over four decades the tools changed — CNC routers replaced hand saws, LED replaced neon tubing, large-format printers replaced brushes — but the standard never did. Today the third generation of craftsmen works the same floor, delivering signage that competitors measure themselves against.

The workshop opens
Faisal Arts begins in Mussafah Industrial Area, hand-crafting painted signboards and metal lettering for Abu Dhabi's first wave of commercial growth.
The neon years
Illuminated signage transforms the city's nights. The workshop masters neon bending and electrical sign work, lighting up storefronts across the capital.
Precision machinery arrives
Investment in CNC routing, laser cutting and large-format digital printing brings machine precision to hand-craft standards — and opens the era of 3D built-up lettering.
LED & large-scale projects
Full transition to LED illumination systems. The house takes on complete wayfinding systems and corporate identity rollouts for towers, institutions and fleets.
